Black Panther Soundtrack and Movie Release

I am looking forward to the Marvel and Disney’s latest installment in the Marvel Universe,  Black Panther which opens nationwide February 16, 2018.  As a big fan of the marvel movies and especially Captain America. I feel Captain America is a mini Avenger movie. But Thor Raganok is close. Stay tuned for a post on  “Avengers Infinity War”. Therefore, from what I have seen from the trailers, I feel Black Panther will be a breath of fresh air.  Chadwick Bozeman represents the cool, calm, intelligent and badass vibe. No stereotypes here. It’s about time!

The music used for the first trailer was awesome. “Legend Has It” By Run The Jewels. I also like the fact that the music was  trailerized to match the moving scenes. This always magnifies the intensity of the scenes.

After I heard that Kendrick Lamar would be producing the soundtrack for Black Panther, I figured there would be some interesting music and artistic vision.  The album drops February 9, 2018.The music video for “All The Stars” featuring SZA is evidence of that artistic and cutting edge direction. The video actually brought the song alive. I am looking forward to see if there will be a video for “Pray” featuring The Weekend. So far, Pray is my favorite track from the few that are available for streaming. But lets see once the album comes out.

Therefore I imagined my own version of The Black Panther soundtrack.  Black Panther Soundtrack A 3-4 track Ep will be released next week when the movie comes out. Stay tuned. This track is called “Black Panther”. It is a cinematic and hybrid trailer soundtrack. I used elements of synths and other sounds to represent the futuristic technology, tribal sounds and ethnic drums to represent the people of Wakanda. The energy and climax represents T’Challa and impending battle with Killmonger and other foes. Including Klaw.  Enjoy and please feel free to share your opinions here or on youtube. #Wakanda #Forever
